Dr Cecile Chu completed her medical training at University of New South Wales and started her medical career at Bankstown Hospital Network. Subsequently she has been selected into the Royal Australian College of General Practice training program and completed her training in Western Sydney and now practices as a Specialist General Practitioner. From 2016 to 2018, she was a Lecturer and Subject Coordinator at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) for the course of "Clinical features of disease" to third year university students.
Dr Cecile enjoys the diversity of assessing and managing medical conditions in all age groups in general practice. She performs cervical screening tests (formerly known as Pap Smears), contraceptive hormonal implant insertions and removals, intrauterine contraceptive device insertion and removal, skin biopsy and excisions, aspirations and steroid injections for musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr Cecile speaks functional Cantonese in addition to English.
